Who Are The Rebelles?

Crouch End local Tracie Hunter with Phoebe White and Anna Randall are a three-piece female harmony group.

I was delighted when Tracie, Phoebe and Anna agreed to come and sing at Brand New Start during our Crouch End Festival celebrations. This exciting new band with equally exciting faces just serves to illustrate the great talent hidden in N8. This is your chance to get to see these beautiful girls and more importantly hear their fabulous voices, not from the “balcony” a million miles away but up close and personal from just a few yards. This is one opportunity you definitely don’t want to miss. OK I’ll admit I am VERY biased because I love these ladies, so here (below) is a video so you can decide for yourselves. ….Jonny.

The Rebelles – Press

Review: MetalTalk.net

If you like your rock to stir the cockles of your heart, Tracie Hunter’s forthcoming album, ‘Vasilisa’, will have you reaching for the Kleenex (though hopefully not the noose). Having heard a couple of other tracks from ‘Vasilisa’, first single …

Review: MusicNews.com

‘Junkman’ is passionately yet sensibly handled with a slow-burning start that gradually drifts over into passionate singing charged with plenty of energy, blistering guitar solos and above all, two fantastic voices!

Review: GetToTheFront.com

The song is a great example of what a power ballad should be, and is sang with both feeling and passion by Hunter and Elliot…

Review: FairHearing.co.uk

Tracie Hunter is easily as good as most female rock singers and better than most, so let’s have this promised third album from her please…

Sally Kendall Mosaic Workshop at Brand New Start

26 May

Mosaic Workshops for Kids & Adults!

Crouch End Festival Special

Rating: 4.8 out of 5 based on 179 ratings

Here at Brand New Start Gallery we are of course absolutely delighted to be able to host Sally Kendall’s Mosaic workshop for adults and children as part of our Crouch End Festival special events.

Best known perhaps are Sally’s iconic mosaics of celebrities like Mo Farrah and Amy Weinhouse, but in reality they are just the tip of a glowing iceberg of mosaic art. For a few days in June however you can learn from one of London’s most acclaimed Mosaic Artists and create your own unique mosaic. All this for nothing more than a small charge for materials.

We expect these workshops will sell out quickly so please get your place booked quickly as in fairness to all we have to operate on a first come first served basis.

When?

Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th June |

Classes are at 12.00(noon), 1.00, 2.00, 3.00 and 4.00

Each class consists of 5 – 10 (max) students and lasts for 1 hour.

The Brand New Start Gallery 44-46 High Street Hornsey, N8 7NX
